Storyline:
Jazz musician Kurt Wildmann (Viktor de Kowa) has to put up with a few strokes of fate. He survives the last hours of the war in a bunker with his wife Angela Jäger (Walraut Haas) and their little daughter, but the bad years are not over yet. After an extremely hot concert in 1953, his leg had to be amputated. Only a year later he can perform on stage again with a prosthesis. However the joy does not last long….
